Almost all webmasters use sitemaps for their sites. Sitemaps help users to navigate through a Web sites whith more than one page as they showing how the pages are linked. They show the entire site’s contents in a tree structure similar to a book’s “table of contents”. Sitemaps also help search engines like Google to indexes the websites. But sometimes the beginning webmasters meet difficulties with making of sitemaps for their websites. I spent a couple of hours searching in Google to find an easy way to do that.
The following sites and software are tested by me and I’m using their sitemaps for my site.
Here are few steps for creating sitemaps in just 1 minute.
1.Go to one of the following sites:
http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/
http://www.makeasitemap.com/
2. Enter the full http address for your site in the field labeled http://
3. From the dropdown menu labeled “Change frequency” choose the value indicating how frequently the content at your particular URL is likely to change.
4. Press START
After that you will see the generated sitemap details page, and link to a compressed sitemap.
5. Download the sitemap file using that link.
Another way to create sitemaps is to use specifically designed for the purpose software like Sitemap Generator
